PARADE HOTEL
How personal information is handled, and how to contact us about your privacy.
UPDATED 14 OCTOBER 2026
This policy concerns Brighton Enterprises (WA) Pty Ltd, trading as Parade Hotel, ABN 92 625 590 730. It explains how personal information is handled when you contact us or use the services available through our website.
For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or a complaint, email enquiries@paradehotel.com.au, call (08) 9762 4954, or write to Parade Hotel, 1 Austral Parade, East Bunbury WA 6230. Please mark written enquiries ‘Privacy’.
The information collected depends on your request. It can include your name, email address, telephone number, enquiry topic and message; booking or event details such as dates, times and numbers attending; and information you provide when joining Parade Locals or purchasing a gift voucher.
Employment applications can include your résumé, experience, availability, work-rights information and qualifications. Some forms offer optional fields, such as your organisation or date of birth. Only provide information relevant to your request.
We collect information directly when you complete a form, email, telephone or otherwise contact us, and from the service providers you use to arrange something with us. You can make a general enquiry without identifying yourself where practical, although we may need contact or booking details to respond or arrange a service.
We use submissions and associated correspondence to respond to enquiries, arrange bookings and events, provide requested services and assess employment applications. Information may be handled by the staff responsible for your request and providers supporting our website, email and the particular service you use.
Our table-booking and function-enquiry forms use ResDiary. Parade Locals and online gift-voucher forms use Zen Global. These embedded services collect information through their own forms and have their own terms and privacy notices. Please read the notices presented there. We remain responsible for personal information we receive and handle.
We may also use or disclose information where required or authorised by law.
You are added to our email and/or mobile marketing communications only when you explicitly select the relevant opt-in checkbox. An ordinary enquiry or employment application does not automatically subscribe you.
For opted-in contacts, details and communication preferences are recorded in Zen Global and passed through an integration on our own server to Brevo, which we use to send communications for the channels you have selected.
You can change your preferences or unsubscribe using the options provided in our communications, or contact enquiries@paradehotel.com.au. You can withdraw your consent to either or both channels. Service messages needed to deal with an enquiry or booking are separate from promotional updates.
Our website contact, event and employment form submissions, including uploaded résumés, are stored in WordPress. Staff also process related notifications and correspondence to respond to your request. Details submitted through an embedded service are handled in that service, and opted-in marketing details follow the Zen Global and Brevo process described above.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, loss and unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. We retain information for the purposes described in this policy and to meet applicable legal obligations. When it is no longer needed and the law does not require us to retain it, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
Some providers that support our website and communications process information outside Australia. Brevo publishes database-hosting locations in France, Germany and Belgium. Our website host, WP Engine, lists subprocessors in the United States for services such as hosting and support; the providers involved depend on the services used.
Zen Global also describes possible international storage and processing in its privacy policy, without specifying every country. The locations used by embedded services may differ. We do not represent that all information remains in Australia. Contact us if you need more information about the providers relevant to your interaction.
Using a provider does not remove our responsibilities under Australian privacy law. We take reasonable steps required by law when arranging overseas handling of personal information.
When you load a website or embedded form, the systems delivering it receive technical information needed to provide that service, such as your IP address and browser information. Cookies or similar browser storage may also be used by those services. Your browser settings let you manage cookies, although blocking them can affect a form’s operation.
Contact us using the details above to request access to personal information we hold about you or to ask for a correction. Explain the information or interaction your request concerns so we can locate the relevant records. We may need to confirm your identity before providing access or making a change.
We will consider your request under the Privacy Act 1988 and respond within a reasonable period. If a legal exception prevents us from providing access or making a correction, we will explain the reason and the available complaint options where required by law.
If you are concerned about our handling of your personal information, contact enquiries@paradehotel.com.au with a description of what happened and how you would like us to respond. We will review the relevant records, contact you if further details are needed and respond within a reasonable period.
If the matter is not resolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for information about making a privacy complaint.
This policy may be updated as our services or information-handling arrangements change. The current version and update date are shown on this page. Contact us for a free copy, including in another reasonably accessible format.
